Let's see... it's almost the end of March, and as per usual, I'm noting down the speculation that runs rampant in my mind.
Consider this the possibilities post-Murney. I'd like to clarify that I do love Ms Murney's interpretation of Elphaba very much and wish her a long and healthy run. :)
If Ms Murney did a six month run, that'd see a departure in July - 7/15?
Or nine months - and leave at the beginning of October? (a la Eden's departure schedule)
Or (my favourite): A one year contract that'd see Ms Murney until January '08 :)
My speculation runs - post-Murney: Kristy Cates (replacement Chicago Elphaba (and Tour Elphaba)) in to the Gershwin for a three to six month run. Which, in turn, could see Ms Block complete her run with the Pirate Queen.
Pirate Queen starts in April, a six month run for Ms Block sees her departing the production in October/November 2007. A three month break would allow for the possibility that she joins the Broadway Wicked company in Spring '08.
