Random thoughts on a rainy day
What a beautiful rainy autumn day. I'm spending it listening to/ripping This Mortal Coil for angry_biscuit. Those of you anxiously awaiting his 4AD posts can blame me for the delay. Yesterday was spent attempting to upload DCD stuff to a fileserve, but I kept losing my wireless connection at work and was never successful.
I made another attempt at this at home last night, and while ripping Within the Realm of a Dying Sun, I got the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH. I think my main harddrive on my home PC crashed, but I was in no mood for PC diagnostics, so I stole the older PC I had given to Jim to play games and I have at least basic PC functions at home again.
Sadly, some of the more rare 4AD stuff I had planned to share is on the harddrive that may or may not be dead...so no This Mortal Coil "16Days/Gathering Dust" for now, now Dali's Car bsides.
(This is also the delay for uploading the Erlend Øye cover of "Last Christmas" for meropa, which I will post soon, I promise.)
I will hopefully be successful posting the DCD and This Mortal Coil stuff for him today (and maybe Dali's Car).
In other news, it's Jim's birthday today. He's 51 (and still has a better body than me, the bastard). I don't want to be at work at all, so I think I'll fuck off a good bit today.
I've recently stretched a few piercings. My PA is now 0g and I've stretched my ears back to 4g.
