Shopping was completed by 11 AM yesterday! And then we had to go out again. I tried to take a nap but that didn’t work because I got caught up in watching something on the TV.
Last night I finished the Orchid Socks and pulled the next yarn for another pair and tucked it into the traveling bag.
There is a backup of the rush hour traffic this morning that only indicates trouble down the road.
I turn off the light last night, feel asleep and then woke to find myself being trampled by cat paws. At first I thought Nuit but hearing the happy little purr I realized that it was Kali walking up and down the length of me - back & forth, back & forth. I am going to have to talk to Nuit and request that she not teach the kittens her bad habits. LOL!
I have a to do list today that is getting way too long - in my opinion. I have already made a dent into it. Out of 14 items there are only 6 left to do. :)
What is it in the male mind that thinks doing housework is not work but rather something to be done during the weekend? And on top of that this morning Ms. Trouble is down in the kitchen on the window seat vocalizing about needing more attention.
Have a wonderful day!
Tell Walmart to Give Thanksgiving Back to Workers
Walmart has decided to pull staff in on Thanksgiving just to stock the shelves for an 8PM opening. Maybe they should rename themselves Scroogemart.

Do you really own the smartphone or computer you’re using to read this email?
If you sold your computer, would you be breaking the law? A federal court in New York says you would be.
It's unbelievable, but trademark and copyright holders really are trying to take away your right to sell things that you own. Please click here to fight back:
http://www.youvebeenowned.org/ The First-Sale Doctrine gives us the right to sell most property we own. But if the Supreme Court supports the lower court’s decision, we won't really “own” anything if it's from a different country. We expect them to issue a ruling later this year.
The President can urge the Court to side with consumers; then Congress will probably weigh in on the issue, no matter how the Court rules.
If we lose this fight, anybody who wants to resell foreign products, from Macbooks and iPhones to our clothing and textbooks, will have to ask copyright holders for permission first. And they'll have the right to deny it!
It's bad for so many reasons: It'll undermine Craigslist and Ebay, hurt the environment, increase incentives for manufacturers to move jobs off-shore, and effectively ban the traditional American yard sale.
