I‘ve had an early start to my day and am getting a bit tired of being up before the rush hour even starts. ARGH! It is coming up on 4:30 AM and already have all of the papers read.
I get to go vote today and if you area is holding elections get yourself down to the polling station and place your vote too.
We will have an asteroid flyby on Saturday. No, it is not going to hit us but it will be close enough - if you have the right equipment - to see it. Read more about it here.
http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/asteroids/main/index.html I managed to get about 4 more inches of the Bamboo Scarf knit last night. Not bad since I was up and down the stairs all evening. I am using Knit Picks Andean Treasure yarn on this project and it is a joy to work with - so soft. Poor little Nuit was sleeping on my lap while I was knitting and every time I got up she would signal her displeasure by uttering a pitiful little kitty whine, followed by begrudgingly getting up and glaring at me as if she was saying, “Enough already, sit, knit!”
Of late, this little cat has become a cuddly feline. I do not take this as a “I love my human” type message. Instead, I think she is just getting chilly in the evenings and she prefers to crawl under the throw that is keeping me warm. LOL!
