Saturday's post
Note: Since this thing is not letting me post the whole entry for yesterday I though that I would try and do it in stages. Thus, I am going to add each item one by one to see which items is causing the offense. Turns out it was a story in Bit & Pieces about Islands that will become uninhabitable because of climate change. Go figure.
Last night I was reading an article by Jim Hightower (found below in Bits & Pieces) and this quote, when applied to the GOP is pretty damn accurate:
We've got too many 5-watt bulbs sitting in 100-watt sockets.
BINGO!
I knit myself into Part 3 of the Shetland Pi Shawl last night. Progress. I now have enough stitches on the needles so they were transferred over to a circular needle.
We had an absolutely wonderful day here yesterday. It is so nice to see the 70s again, I can’t begin to tell you. Unfortunately, It will be back down into the 50s today. ARGH!
Coffee is gone, lots to do with some travel involved. Have a wonderful day!
Spent the day away at Lunacon doing docent work at the art show and I only bought one book. Dearest was not so good. :) Now, I am putting my feet up for the rest of today.
