Sunday morning
It’s Oscar night. Haven’t made the decision to watch or not yet but I would like to see Shaun Tan come away with an Oscar for his animated project so, fingers crossed.
I finished off the knitting of the scarf last night and am now on to applying a cabled edging. Why didn’t I just include the edging into the knitting in the first place? Because I didn’t know what I wanted it to look like at that point. Oh well, it is easy enough to knit the cable on to the scarf. I also placed a buttonhole at one end of the scarf and purchased a button I fell in love with on esty.com, thus the scarf can be wound around and buttoned or left hanging. Here’s a pic of the edging.
I wound some lace yarn into balls in preparation for the next shawl project I am contemplating. It takes forever to hand wind the yarn but it is better than having it break on the ball winder. I am going to use up the rest of my Papaya Alpaca Cloud with this next project.
Danu has turned up her nose at her breakfast this morning. She really does not care for one flavor of the catfood and it was served to her this morning. Presently, she is sitting her next to me complaining.
