Behold the Power of Craigslist
My ad for an accompanist for St. Rose hasn't even been up for 12 hours yet and I've already gotten a response from a seemingly very qualified candidate: a gal about to get a BM in Composition from Metro with 17 years of classical piano training. Rock on!
Maybe I should use CL to get dates...
P.S. I turned 22 on Sunday and my family is awesome as always and we had a great time eating, seeing Pirates 3 (don't even get me started on that ending) and general merriment. And....I'm 22, wtf is that about? Also I had a slight (read: major) freakout about apartment stuff on Sunday night that bled over into Monday (I swear to God this has ended up being such a colossal pain in the ass and this is the last time in my life I EVER try to alter my living situation plans to accommodate someone else), but I'm finally feeling better about it.
I also went to Horizon High School's Choir concert this evening and the choirs were wonderful. I'm so excited to ST there. Sadly the experience was marred by some of the worst (if not the worst) concert etiquette I've ever witnessed. Look for a big post on that in the near future.
