let's see why Canada lost ranks... culture? whut? (-100), 5 hours waiting time at the hospital (-250), environment (-500), weather (- a gabazillion for the winter)

oh and I've seen Avatar. PRETTY. so, so pretty. it's a visual treat. the story comes second. *nudges*

Ha! I think your average Aussies are pretty crap at culture stuff, too. And having experienced the joys of our public health system this past year, I can't say I entirely agree with the report's assertions. It's truly terrifying if our system is world-standard best practice.

But hey, there is absofuckinglutely no arguing with our weather. I'll give you that. *thumbs up, basks in the 32 degree heat*

I think I'ma head out and see Avatar. :D And I might take an extra fee ticket with me, just in case I decide to hang it all and pay Holmes & Watson another visit after. Heeeee!

I think you should go see the movie and make your own judgment about it. That is what I think. Never judge a book by its cover.

And HEY. My cousins grew up in Whyalla. We used to jetty-dive the crap out of that town. We had no trouble finding awesome illegal crap to do during school holidays.

It'll come bite you in the ass sooner or later, dude.

Best to open the door every once in a while and stick your nose out for ten minutes or so. Keeps your stick on the ice, they tell me. Whatever that means.

It's what follows (MURPHY!) that scares me!

I always though it was 'stick on the ice' but with as much ice is out there right now, nose is probably more appopriate *grumbles*.

I don't wanna face outside (my head is a cozier - albeit gruesome place - but at least it's warm, lol!)
