Today I am disappointed in tomato soup.  It just doesn't taste like it used to when I was a little tacker.

Why, tomato soup?  Why?  Why did you change?

Or was it me?

WHO CHANGED, TOMATO SOUP?

dilemmas which are not dilemmas, rl, does not want, blergh

Hey, there! Long time no hear, huh? Would you believe I'm that much of a moron that I was going to email you about 2 months ago to find out whazzup with you; was everything okay, and why the silence? That's when I discovered I somehow, whilst cleaning up my lj notifications, un-clicked getting emails when you posted entries! Doh! What's worse is that I thought I'd corrected that (actually went clickety-click to do so) and only discovered a few days ago that it didn't work! ::facepalm:: Hell, I was starting to think *you'd* gone friends only and had de-friended me or something??!! God, I'm an inept idjit sometimes!

On to the important stuff though...

LOL, you know? I never had tomato soup in my youth. Can't remember ever trying it until just a few years ago. (Okay, so I was a weirdly indulged child who was never made to eat anything that I didn't want to/like the look of. Shame on my dear departed mommy!)

I've only had it a few times recently, made in the deli that's in my building and it's mighty good. It's only been the last year or so that I've tried french onion soup and that has been a lovely experience too. I'm still a relatively fussy eater but I've gotten a lot better over the past decade or so. The positive side is that, at the ripe old age of 45, I get to experience the delights of trying many foods/meals that are still new to me and that's not a bad thing :)

I hope things are good with you. I will have to play some catch up with your lj but, with the chaos that is my RL these days, it'll likely wait until after Christmas when I've got a little more time to breathe do such things ;).

Hey you! I didn't go anywhere! I has been right here, you silly duffer.

Meh. Don't bother catching up on all my ramblings. I am mostly very dull. Here is the tl;dr version: I quit my job! I work in a juvenile prison now! It's awesome! YAY! I'm nearly finished my multichap! I still love coffee! And DEAN! *glee*

There you go. You're all up to speed. :D

I hope you had a very Merry Christmas surrounded by people you love. Speak soon, hon. Good to hear from you.

Awesome to hear from you, babe! I still feel like such a dolt that it took me this long to get back to getting entries from you. And thanks for the life update. I knew you'd left your old job and had gotten the new one but I must have lost touch right during the transition since I wasn't sure what your new job was, aside from that it was with correctional services in some way. I'm just tickled that you're enjoying it and, I don't know why (because I really don't know you that well) but, I really get the feeling that you working in that environment (with juveniles) works. I hope you enjoy if for as long as you want to :)

Oh and *\o/* for being nearly finished your fic! I'm ashamed to say I haven't started reading it yet.. not for lack of desire but in hopes that I'd get caught up in other reading before diving into a WIP. Well, the former hasn't really happened (I've put out the white flag in that regard) but will happily dive into The Lee soon :)

Happy New Year!
