we ushered in the new year on the plane. we had 2 countdowns to 2010 as we flew through 2 time zones.
and then came the 2-week Paediatrics attachment where we were thrown back into the wards, ending our short holidays abruptly. it was fun to work with friends though :) enjoyed everyday of it :)
CNY provided us a temporary reprieve from school and work
then i found an awesome group of friends through the IMH posting
and KOI slowly became a staple in my life
played for NUSWS InTempo, possibly my last official concert with NUSWS
& Year 3 ended with Closing-The-Loop after our 4 week long TTP
missing the old times
went to Taiwan with the Tubs
performed at the Esplanade and under Mr Oura for the first and last time
went on a road trip to Malaysia with my extended family and bonded with my nephews for the 1st time
saw with ambivalence as the bulk of my class graduated
met up with friends; old & new
and then the new school year began & we had a class gathering: juxtaposition of nurses and students
i saw the first meteor ever in my life (& i'm very glad i took the Universe module)
& had random outings in between crazy deadlines to keep us going (& our weekly Friday food hunts!)
went on a failed stargazing trip ;P
took the last of our official class photos
saw JYJ live in Singapore!
watched NUSWS's Da Capo as an audience for the first time
spent my birthday with the most important people of my life
started a commemorative album on Facebook that consists of photos of the last few moments of my student life
had more random outings (that reflected on our exam results hahaha)
fell madly in love with Sungkyunkwan Scandal and Micky Park Yoochun
my interest in Korea and all things Korean grew
took part in the Standard Chartered Marathon as a first-aider (probably first & last time)
saw Song Joongki in person (i blame the Sungkyunkwan craze)
and i'm now grudgingly preparing myself to enter 2011, hoping that the next year would be as good as the previous. 2010 is a year of firsts and lasts, and i'm sure 2011 will be no different. graduation! ambivalence yet again.
