This past week has surely been one of the most hectic weeks of my high school career. When I entered high school, I thought Student Council was a nice organization with very little work to be done. And was I wrong. I never even knew about "The Scrapbook" or all of these notebooks that needed to be filled with state reports. Well that is exactly what me, along with 8 other officers were doing, putting all of this together for today's judging of the notebooks and the scrapbook at Montwood. We spent countless hours either writing reports or looking for those tedious documentations for each report. Even though it was quite stressful, I have to say I did have SOME fun. I guess because I had the honor of working with a group of 8 VERY hardworking kids. Each and every one of them has their own very unique and enjoyable personality that makes it a very comfortable and fastidious environment to work in. So thanx guys! Unfortunately, thanx to some jealous people from other school who took out some of our reports resulting in us losing points, we were not able to get the sweepstakes award, in neither DASH nor TEED. And as far as the scrapbook goes, I believe Gabriel and Liz did a remarkable job on that state of the art piece, but once again, people from other schools have no idea what SUPERIOR looks like, as they only gave the scrapbook an "Excellent." Now everyone may say, "Hey that's not bad", yeah, that's true, but we here at the Riverside Student Council don't settle for anything less than Superior. But don't worry we know deep down in our hearts, we do have the superior scrapbook of them all! As far as my sports section of my entry goes, I have so much to say, but I am going to delay it until UTEP's season finale game against Boise St. which will take place tomorrow night at the sold out Don Haskins Center.
But once again, to all of his year's Student Council Officers, thanx guys, and let's get a clean sweep next year!!!!!!
I'm Paul, keep it rockin' people!
