Catching up for the semester!

Wow, what a semester this has been. I mentioned to a friend yesterday that somehow every semester my classes are harder than in the last. So (like in office space) at any given moment, you're seeing me in the hardest semester of my life. Developmental Bio is freaking insanely hard. I don't really care about which genes do what in the body, and I now officially know so much about development that the idea of sex makes me cringe with an overload of data on chemical and hormone signal requirements. Cancer Bio would be very hard, if the teacher didn't love me. It's pretty much impossible for me to do poorly on her tests because she will actually correct what I've done wrong on the essays. Personality is a pretty cool course, Stargazing is now over, along with senior seminar, and Shakespeare is easy enough as long as I do the reading (which I don't). But enough about the boring parts of school. Who goes to college to learn right?

Ultimate has once again, fucking ruled. The team is amazing this year both talent and personality wise. The rookies are both really cool, and insanely good. Most people already have nicknames that (in the case of Butters) people from other schools even know about. Because our team has split up into two teams for most tourneys this year I actually have been taking a minor leadership role in some cases. I was a de facto team captain for both the parents weekend intrasquad tourney as well as for the Y team in our tourney at BGSU last weekend. Having to call lines is ridiculously hard and only furthers my respect for Evan, who has to do it with 23 people on the line waiting to get in. Partying with the team has been even more fun. Addison's 21st was one of the best parties I've ever been too. Drees and Gruber came up for the night and had a blast as well. The party was a toga party and I think Addison played "Shout" at least 4 times. Two weekends ago was parent's weekend which also led to some team fun. The members of the Hotel 4.5.5. were all gathered for the festivities which can only lead to constant happiness. Playing flip-cup with parents is also grounds for much entertainment. Travis Knight's birthday party is this Friday which I can only imagine will fucking rock. Travis is one of the happiest drunks I've ever met and I cannot wait to hear him go nuts at The Deli (WHICH DOES NOT SERVE SANDWICHES! WHICH IS FUCKING BULLSHIT!!!) again like he always does. The Saturday is a big Ultimate party for all the new members which will be awesome. Corboy said he's planning on showing up at like 5pm completely wasted. Should be a good ol time ;)

My house this year fucking rules. Aside from the perfect location and having a/c and a washer/dryer set the roommates are soooooooooooooo much better than last year. Also it seems like there is almost always a party going on at my house on the weekends, which is super convenient. Drinking with Joe Pa (who is a hell of a roommate) has been loads of fun, even if he hasn't reverted to Super Joe in quite a while. There's also the tree climbing, though I don't know if it'll still be warm enough for that. For the past month or so I've been busy with ultimate on the weekends so it will be nice to actually be around the house again on the weekends.

And then there's the romance... For like 21.5 years there was basically nothing. Now I have to make a choice between who I want to date? What the hell is that? Oh well, I guess life could be worse ;)

I'm lookin forward to Thanksgiving break, (hat tourney in cincy!!!) and then XMAS. Should be a good couple weeks.

(comment if you read my stuff. It makes me feel cool)
