This past weekend pt 2 (finished)
Ok, since I started the big update by just saying what happened this past weekend, I’ll just finish that little weekend segment first.
Saturday was basically a whole lot of doing nothing during the day. I slept til like 430 because I hadn’t been able to properly sleep in for weeeeks. Later sat around playin some WoW (*sigh*, how did I get roped into that, more probably later) waiting to go to Drees’ sister Emily’s grad party. Rolled over there at about 830, after enjoying a delicious flank steak dinner. When I got there Drees was playing volleyball with a lot of the neighborhood kids (he’s like a sports god to them) so I just waited for his game to end. We then went inside where his mother directed me to the food. I had some of the chicken tacos which were AMAZING as well as like, 3 pieces of cake. Originally the plan had been for the people playing ultimate the next day to spend the night at his house and lazily sip brews into the night. Instead we all went to my house and played Mario soccer on the wii!! After playing that for a very long time most people just left. Drees however decided to sleep on the couch in our basement because there would be people at his house all night and he wanted to sleep somewhere quiet. The next morning we rose at the insanely early hour of 7am to go to our tourney.
**Instead of putting all of that action here I’m going to sum up all of summer league in one big post later**
After the tourney we were insanely exhausted but still looking for something small that we could do. We gradually decided on watching movies at Goody’s house and ordering pizza to eat. It was a fitting end to a long and exhausting day. After everyone cleaned up a bit we met there to discover that the pizza’s (mmm LaRosas) had already arrived. The original plan was to watch 300 and Hot Fuzz, but Drees couldn’t find his copy of 300 so we had to settle for Hot Fuzz by itself. The movie is hilarious if you haven’t seen it, and we were all laughing almost constantly for most of the 2nd half. When the movie was over Goody kicked us out because Olivia was coming over and we pretty much just went home and crashed. Needless to say, we all slept VERY well that night.
