I hope 2005 is a better year than 2004 was.

So, my trip home has been good, mostly. I had a great little trip over to the Vineyard for a couple days. Went to lunch with a woman I used to...'know.' Bought a couple CDs at Aboveground. First, the Dropkick Murphys' "Tessie" single. Had to have it, how could I not? Secondly, and more importantly, I got Rilo Kiley's "More Adventurous" album. That is the name, not a description. I am in love with Jenny Lewis, the singer. I want to fornicate with her.
Some things I hope to do in 2005:
Regain the muscle tone I had as recently as summer.
Have a wonderful girlfriend for more than half (prefereably the remainder of) the year.
Speak to Cindylicious on the phone, if she will stop being retarded.
Get hired permanently by The Firm.
At least have an agent interested in me by the end of the year, if not sooner.
Go to Massachusetts at least three times.
Listen to Rilo Kiley some more and pretend that she is singing for me.
Have some good cereal for breakfast.
See northern California or at least somewhere else besides LA.
Make the Iraqi pubes thread with Wilted go longer than any thread on recorded history.
All in all I want to have a year where I only smile. That will happen one day, I hope.
Ok see you late, I have to get some effing sleep. Last night (New Year's Eve) was cool. I cooked pot roast for 12 people. It came out good, so they said! My sister even told my mom that it was good, so I guess I must have done it well. Nice. I didn't sleep much last night, partly due to some disaster of a drunk. YEAH, WILTED, YOU WILL BE HAPPY TO KNOW THAT I ACTUALLY TURNED DOWN A GIRL WHO LITERALLY THREW HERSELF AT ME THREE TIMES. I am not always a whore. Unbelievably, I have one of those consciences or something. I should have it surgically removed.
