Im soooooooo freakin tired right now I just totally want to curl up and die!!! So today was our trip to MIS to the NASCAR race.......................
got up at 530am.....
all of us were on the road at 645am
Got all sorts of turned around in Jackson some how..???
Finally got with in 10 miles of the track and BAM....traffic backup....and BAM...car starts fuckin up.....not cool!
.........Friday I rented a 06 Grand Prix from Enterprise so that we could go to the race in style.....well not so much style but it was SUPPOSED to be like 90 and I wanted AC cuz my Tahoe's AC is all gone........
So yeah, the transmission in this freakin car is totally fried....we call Enterprise and they tell us to drive it to Detroit Metro Airport to exchange it......Im like...are you freakin kidding me....we had over $400 in NASCAR tickets and were STUCK in track traffic...yeah...NO.....so we wobbled and jerked our way to the track and said the hell with it...if it dies, o well...not like we didnt have a way home....had friends from work there too.........
Pull into the parking lot....which the one we got shuffled into was like a mile away...no biggie there, thats normal!! Kimmi and Shannon head to track right away so they could go in the pits..Daniel and I made our way up there on our own. Got up there finally and got our scanner and went and found our seats..kick ass seats too....then went and bought our shit so we wouldnt have to on our way out of the track......it was pretty over cast most of the morning, the sun popped out a few times..........So.....pre race show starts, driver introductions and all that jazz......then it starts to sprinkle........then it starts to rain.......they had to get the track dryers out and cover the cars and shit............finally the race gets under way.......Jr and Kahne were kickin ASS!!!! It was freakin awesome!! Had some cautions thrown out for it startin to sprinkle again.......then more racin.........then more cautions.........etc etc.......we were about 137 laps into 200 and a caution came out again and Daniel and I headed under the stands to smoke and what not.......just as they get ready to start the race up again it starts raining...raining GOOD this time and sure as shit...they ended the race....where drivers were was where they placed...Kahne won the race and Jr came in 3rd :) So yeah...its ass dumping rain, Kimmi and I and Shannon and Daniel make our way back to the car.......SOAKED I tell ya!!! Tranny had time to cool down by then and it ran ok on the way home...it was shiftin kinda hard though...o well....it aint my car! So yeah...finally make it home after like forever cuz of back ups to the e-way and then more back ups on the e-way.....got home and peeled myself out of my wet clothes and Daniel and I went ahead and took Dad to dinner since it was Daddy Day.....and it seems to be a tradition that after the races we go to Damons to eat!
Im soooooooooo tired and I want soooooooooo bad to go to bed but I have to stay up as long as I can cuz I have to work Monday night thus needing to sleep most of the day Monday...BUT....I gotta return the rental in the morning in Waterford....grrr...I just told Daniel to wake me when he leaves for work and I'll just go do it right when they open up instead of later on...but lemme tell you...I WILL be rippin them a new asshole thats for sure!!
