Cottage trip musings
Going back to the cottage felt great as usual. My only regret is that I should not have been lazy and left my guitar there. True, I only play it when I'm confident I won't be waking up the kids, which means "never" whenever I'm at my brother's place, but we barely heat the place while no one is there, meaning that the guitar's wood will be taking a hit with the varying temperatures. And to think I just had it adjusted! Oh well. Though it's in a much better shape I'm still eying this beautiful black wood Norman guitar that is also quite affordable over at Steves. Even has the same sound as my old Norman guitar. I miss that guitar so much.
Anyway, back to cottage musings.
The trip was nice enough that I decided to go back for the next three weekends.
Weekend of the 8th: No one is scheduled to come which means I'll probably go there alone. I was thinking about inviting some of my Montreal buddies but I don't mind if things are too last second for them.
Weekend of the 15th: Doh has shown interest in coming over so I was thinking about getting a bunch of people to go and watch Firefly. No, not only has he never seen it, he's actually NEVER HEARD ABOUT IT. Not even Serenity. I'm thinking about Melchior, Chriss and company.
Weekend of the 22nd: A couple which will remain nameless has been offered to come. I'm slotting things for them and give them control on how they want things to happen.
I keep wanting to add more, but what's the point?
