It seems that I'm done with learning the advanced portion of my PHP tutorial. The rest took a good while to go through, I admit that some motivational problems where present whenever I hit something that seemed more complicated or out of the scope of my knowledge. Felt like this old "laze" which I talked so often about, but the fact that I had so many other things to deal with is also a decent excuse for the tardyness.
I'd go through more stuff but I have no servers that use PHP 5.2 and over, meaning that input filter functions like filter_var() can only be read about and not practiced. No matter. Back in my days, we used to do all this stuff ourselves anyway. "Back in my day, we used to walk 10 miles to school!" :)
Time to go with MySql then. But now I have a couple of things I need to write up, both for my web site and work. We need a new set of online forms, I'd be happier if they where in a code that I have no problem toying with.
