Nice morning

I've been away from the computer for too long it seems and I take that as a sign that I'm puting most of my vacation time to good use. This morning I decided to play catch up with all things internet and found myself writing up e-mails, posts and blogs from 9am to noon. Also, I thought that my dentist appointment was today but it was in fact yesterday. Oh gosh darn it, my wisdom tooth extraction will just have to wait (snicker). No really, I did not forget on purpose.

Tomorrow I should be off to the US for one day with my father and brother, an old tradition that we have been neglecting a lot. I would rather say that I have not gone there because of what I now think about the US and anyone of their generalist citizen, but the truth is that we just can't all make the time to go there was we used to at least once a year. I loved to go there, I loved to go to our old family hang out at Old Orchard. I loved how we would hang out at Keneybunk port and eat sea food like there was no tomorrow. Just like my father I love the sea. We share many of the same interests but we put our preferences elsewhere. It does not matter though, I love hanging out with him at any beach while he will never say no to watch a good submarine movie with me. We won't be going that far though, it's just a quick trip to Platsburgh for the sake of saying we jumped the border. That's it. Shopping spree I guess...

Where are my damn official papers? Geez...

I went to exchange my 360 yesterday. The process of doing so went fairly well, it seems they've heard of bugged console in the past to a point they almost did not check it to see if I spoke the truth. I wrote on Arcadians that I was having issues and I was surprised to see that most of those problems where well accepted by most of the gaming community. Still I'm sure I was getting more errors than the normal amount and I already feel better with the brand new machine which, I swear, seems to lead everything much faster. That console is the absolute shit (in the good sense). If I knew all that it can do I would have gotten one much earlier! I can only wonder if the PS3 can do the same and if can't then I question the sanity of anyone who wishes to get one. Heck, it does not even have any games at this point either. The only saving grace is that it's more of a blue disc player which eventually might have good exclusive games on it one day.

trip, gaming
