"happy" holidays!
i wanted to do my usual rant on how ridiculous christmas has become and how it is a joke to even associate how most people celebrate it with christianity anymore, unless that christianity suddenly involves worshipping a big fat guy that plays with elves... but i'm going to do everyone a favor and not do that. or at least leave at what i just said
so instead i'll just go on about some other stuff
what's with everyone being all bitter around this time of year anyhow? the last two days of work were a non-stop bitchfest of guys complaining about their wives. this one guy i work with gave me his life story and basically warned me not to get married cuz apparently it will ruin my life. alright!
i think every guy i work with waited til tuesday to grudgingly do their shopping. i guess at some point it becomes a matter of "i have to buy this person a present" rather than "i want to be thoughtful and get this person something that might make them happy". please don't let me ever get like that... talk about complacency
i finally bought alcohol! i bought some wine for jeff and kristyn. i figure, kristyn hasn't had any alcohol in 9 months so once the baby pops out, she'll be itching for some. at least thats what i'm banking on. not that she's an alcoholic or something, i'm just saying. i can't help it if just made her sound like one! shut up p!
