windows xp theme fun
i managed to make my XP theme go tres goffix today, i'm sure you're all 'dead' proud of me. hur hur.
My resolution was stupidly low, so changing it made the theme colours go black(anything lower than 1600x1080 makes this screen look like it's connected to a Vtech) . Only the icons actually displayed! i couldn't go to any dialog boxes, as they were all black and the menus were all blacked out too. Looked like some kind of technological hyperhearse.
Shouted at a few peeps for help (ta deathboy), some talked about replacing the .theme files, and running batch files to reset the theme.
Easy win though - the key commmand to go to High Contrast mode did it! (shift / alt / PrintScreen, then Return). Reset the theme, hit apply, done.
