Is there anyone out there that has proofed a mass email using loads of fake addresses? We send out a weekly newsletter that has been redesigned, so we need to test code and layout for upwards of 40,000 users. In the past there's been occasional duplicates sent, so thats why we're a bit paranoid about it.

We're thinking of generating a dummy email account, generating 40,000 or so fake users on our system all with this dummy email as the recipient. Going to do this with Gmail as it's searchable, and will in theory let us detect duplicate user info (eg. printing usernames in the email body).

Any suggestions or words of wisdom? This may cause Google to shut down this dummy account, just wondering if someone's done this before..
