Acid junkie college flunky dirty puppy daddy bastard
Well eight years ago I updated last...so I figured I should before I get nudged. This weekend was one of the best I’ve had in a while, I went to Chicago to visit Jason and Craig and Gina drove up from Iowa. The four of us spent the weekend together playing Apples to Apples and other board games, going all over Chicago except down town, fixing cars and riding trains. It was so much fun to hang out with all of them. They help me put my life into perspective, and I don’t think they even know they do it. I received a new nickname that on one under stood, and I added a middle name to Anastasia’s name it is now Anastasia Nicole Beaverhousen, we’ll see if it sticks.
In other news my life has been crazy lately, in December I was invited back to the showboat as the Production Stage Manager of the 2006 summer stock season. I accepted the job without hesitation, even though there are a bunch of fabulous people who won’t be there, but I’m sure that there will be new fun people there and the old people that are coming back are awesome so it should be a good busy summer. For the people that won’t be there I will miss them greatly and look forward to their visits.
Also in December I was offered a show to SM over my semester break which I did. The show was called Mrs. Shakespeare the Complete Works. It was done at the Performance Network and I was listed as Stage Manager, woo hoo for professional credits.
I also have received conformation that I will be the Production Stage Manager for Eastern’s Theatre season from 2006 to 2007. So that’s exciting, so now I’m writing workshops and handouts on stage management. As well as working with my area head and TD to decide what my responsibilities will actually be since it’s been years since EMU has had a PSM.
My next theatre job starts officially on the 14th of February; I’m going to be the Assistant Production Manager at the Perf Net for Their Show A Dolls House. Other than all of that I’ve been going to class and hanging out with a friend or two here and there. My classes this semester think I have time to do homework, so that should be interesting to see.
Right now I’m enjoying an After Noon off before my production meeting this evening then I’ll either hang out with a friend or do homework. I think I’m going to go to target and get some more office supplies to get my apartment organized, cause I can’t stand clutter anymore! (that wasn’t really a good ending but this entry has been kinda random so you can’t expect much)
