neutral milk hotel (pure goodness, i recomend)
This evening i went to my first local show since last year. We show up at new age like around 730, and the show "started" at 7. Yeah nobody was there except for the random interspersing of band members from burnt hills and our dear old scotia. Weird to say the least since i haven't seen or talked to these people in like a year and a half almost. Luckily new age has like these awesome couches and such so ang and i were quite comfortable. Got bored of this after a while and talked to jesse and the rest of The Renowned Army. waited some more. Said hi to the 8th Grade Project boys. Waited. Then the openeing band showed up, showed up not played at around oh umm 8. yea show started around like 830. First band sucked balls like you wouldnt belive. EGP is the same as always. Brings back fond memories of listening to the cd on repeate in the igloo, and of all the times spent with the burnt hills peoples. Such a chapter. TRA played and we got to be merch girls, it was awsome. we even got a little "go see the two babes to buy cds" deal. haha yea. And then ange and i decided to form a band. I'm gonna play guitar, ange sings, jesse on bass and rob on drums. Feral. thats the name FERAL. and then its gonna be the best cover band ever. first show on xmas break. haha. eya. Sucks that we cant go to the Swindle EPI show b/c that woulda been a better ending to the local bands of albany chapter. Its jsut not the same after you laeve and come back. not at all. I dunno, but it was nice to reminice of all the good times at shows here and there about the capital region. Its sad that we cant have it anymore, well that it will never be the same. but this is growing up eh? after that we went to Stewarts and got milkshakse. my first one ever. There was this guy behind us and i said it and he and ange were like "NO WAY" at the same time and started to spout off in glorification of that which is the milkshake. I enjoyed (and now feel sick from ice cream and sugar). Went to a lil get together at this girl that ange goes to school with's house. Some pretty chill people. then home. its 1230 and i'm totally beat. sleep. that is if the 7 (yea seven) young 12 year old girls allow me to do so peacfully. damn sleepover parties!
