Tried to find work but was overqualified due to my college degree and I couldn't get a job out of state as I couldn't take my child with me due to temporary order.
Volunteered at a local church dog wash
Met a man there who thought talking about a flour mill he worked and it provides flour for dog food products would impress me..
Persistant enough we started talking about our divorces together and i cried on the poor guys sholder.
almost homeless once again, got the guts to move into a one bedroom home that let me turn the attatched garage into a groom shop.
Made enough money to stabilize in July. August was slow will only have made less then half.
Guy I met became my best friend and he is helping me organize my business and I will be setting up store front in two weeks. It is named after my dog. Quiggly's Dog Spa.
Divorce finalized Monday, August 18th.
Finally got my bed back after 11 months not sleeping on it.
In conclusion i feel theres a lot in the system that needs to be done in helping parents with children who wind up homeless with no job, yet still making too much income from child support for the government assist them. I got dumped off of assistance as soon as the temporary order child support was set. People wonder how fast money goes and why. .The answer is the baby needs diapers food clothes milk but also the main care taker needs the same and they both need a living situation.. I was lucky enough to find a place for 390 a month and let me have my dog as well as a groom shop in it's garage.
