The "Gina Hat"

Feb 13, 2010 18:28

"Hey, are you wearing the Gina hat? Are you the Reba?".... was asked by a random gentleman who approached Reba at a Sams Club in Wichita, Kansas.  Now, I question who this mysterious man was?  Was it any of you?

Reba told me about this event last night and boy howdy I was quite flattered. Thanks for doing so. It also got me two free mixed drinks, thanks to you. So who ever did it, I owe you a drink!

She also mentioned when she went to a couple resturaunts people remembered her mentioning the hat to her and they'd go heyyyy you got the "Gina hat" on.. So I guess the label of the hat is going to be changed from roygbiv to  "Gina Hat."

It now makes me want to make more Magic Yarn Ear flap hats in barter of some sort. So if anyone is interested and has any extra kitchen supplies to offer, I will totally go for that. The only thing kitchen related I have is a silver ware set, 3 sets of 2 dishes, mugs and bowls, a sandwich smasher, various microwaveable pieces that you use to cook various forms of eggs in, and a rice cooker that also steams veggies. Oh and I got a set of measuring cups and spoons for $1.50 at walmart.  I also have absolutely no cook books, i didn't move out with them. It was just too ackward to get my stuff out of the main floor. I was lucky enough to get my external drive.

So anything else you can think of I'll trade in the value of 17.50 per Magic Yarn hat, I'll make you a hat. I'd hold off all this kitchen supply stuff, but I don't plan to get married until next summer, and that's a long wait for a skillet.  *tee hee*

I'm having a rough time starting my skirt but I think by Monday or Tuesday, Ill understand.

Ps: It's not going to be an Elvis wedding after all. Outside cool early evening summer. (HOPEFULLY)
