Cosplay: stuff!

Roderich:

• Glasses: FINE. Roderich's don't have an upper frame. But since the thin frames will make the existence of a not-half frame not very obvious, I won't be cutting them for better structural support. Got flat lenses installed yesterday (THANK YOU DAD). Again, the lenses' super flatness isn't very obvious other than a certain angle;;;; Can't be helped that I have close to perfect vision...If worse comes to worse, I'll just pop them off, haha.
• Boots: They arrived today! I thought the pair I will be wearing as Roderich will be too bright, but they turned out okay. Still a little too red in color, but it's the best I can do after the long, long summer boot hunt ;___;
  • As an aside, the other two I ordered along with the lace-ups are a little too big, but they shall return after a bit of downsizing! It's trendy these days! (I'm terrible.)
• Pocketwatch: Hehee, not necessary, but it was cool and wasn't too much on eBay. Wind-up only, so no way to adjust the time if it ever stops. Other than wait the half-day.

Ryoji:

• Shirt, pants: Awaiting altering. Going to kill myself getting all those little square buttons for the shirt at expensive, expensive Jo-ann's.
• Suspenders: Need to get snaps or something to hold layers of thick pleather stuff together. Currently trying to figure out the logistics of hemming the brown parts.
• Shoes: Need to get leather paint/dye, possibly sandpaper to sand down the surface a bit before and some shoe-shine thing to smooth it out after.

Cogsworth:

• Shoes:One of the ones I'll be returning will work, but I doubt I'll be getting them back in time. Maybe wear the same ones as Roderich? Or borrow those that we found in Goodwill that were too big for me?
• Pants: There are the ones I can alter, or I can just wear my brown striped shorts with the suspenders...especially if I'll be wearing long boots....;;;;
