Being slightly more informed in fields of science has made me a terrible audience of any stories written with little thought on the science bits.
Example:
Anime: ....so 100% of the Liger's kick are transferred to the ground
Me: Nuoooooooooooo, don't!! Then the poor thing will just stand still... ;__;
Zoids Shiseiki/Zero is really not a particularly outstanding series, but I re-watched the whole thing, in dub, because I love their zoids animations. Seeing the giant robot kitty stretch and fight with other kitties is all worth it. Liger Zero, you are like a giant snowflake...
Shadow Fox and Liger Zero, you two are so cute...even worth watching the dub for (no Japanese version anywhere, for some reason)~
ILU, GUYS.
Noticed so many things on this second watch. Like how one voice actor was casted as practically half the bad guys. His pretty distinctive raspy voice really doesn't help, haha. And, I think Benjamin is a gay robot. Or something like that. There was a whole episode devoted to his love story (in which Bit and Harry gets to bond, LoL).
P.S.: The main character in Zoids Fuhrer pilots a Liger Zero and has the same English voice as Bit (the Shinseiki main character) too...how absolutely disturbing.
fangirling,
commentary,
robots!
