Yay...
In the midst of all the extremely shitty things goin on in my life right now, I made 4th chair out of 48. This means i made region orchestra however only the top 3 chairs advanced to Area. As much as this placement is frustrating because i didnt make Area, im very thankful for what i did earn. I wasnt expecting it because i know i have played better *shrug* Either way I am pleased. Im really glad with the fact that now i know my competition :)
Congrats to all the other people who went no matter what chair you got. The fact that you learned your music and had the balls to play it infront of a large group of people when it wasnt required makes you stand out. In addition you now know your competition and where you fit in which hopefully gives you motivation to practice for region band and so on and so forth.
