i've been somewhere in the sun...
oh my lordy..i'm suh a slacker with livejournal! but hey, not only am i updating, i also changed around the look a bit and made a new icon. how about that hicktown? i absolutely LOVE that song <3
so all is not well in jboro. as usual work is the main problem that stems into everything else, but on the good side of things.. destiny is wanting to spend time with me this week. infact, i called in sick today so i could hangout with her and jeff before his parents come back from vacation tomorrow night. (well i wasn't lying about the sick part, a mix of allergies and back pains along with the monthly visitor are giving me a pretty hard time.)
jeff and i are having problems which i truly hate. its been rocky the past two weeks or longer, i don't know.. all iknow is that i am trying to remain positive in hopes that things will get better. we just haven't had much "us" time here lately and thats a big factor because at the moment there is A LOT that needs to be said, but hasn't. so yeah.. a heart to heart is about to come up soon. i think that next weekend will be a good chance for us to talk, because i am supposed to have the whole weekend off, and we're going to stay at my parents so we can go to the rodeo that we met at :) i can't wait. we both need to get away from things for a couple of days.
we went to the rodeo this weekend in greeneville. its the dodge pro rode series. we had fun, despite the fact that even though my co workers showed up they refused to sit by us.. so that made jeff pissy.. and me too, to be honest.. i don't have any friends here and that made me realize that more than ever. jeff has mentioned that he's taking me to see his best bud and his wife, so he said maybe i could make friends with her... we'll see.
josh gracin is coming to one of the fairs this summer.. i think that he'll be at the appalachian state fair and jeff said he'd take me.. i can wait! i get to go to soem county fairs! i've never been to one :) we're hoping there will be quite a bit of rodeo's going on then too...
so on with the job front, i'm supposed to get transferred to the south roan store, which is relatively closer to the house than where i work now and also closer to etsu, which means that jeff and i will be able to take lunch together maybe... i hope so anyhow.
i have a question.. has anyone went out and bought george strait's new cd? i wanna know if its good... i love the first single off of it... speaking of cds, i got horsepower and rodeo and radio hits of chris ledoux's and they both are great.. also shelly fairchild's debut is killer too.. y'all should really check those cds out! and of course listen up for hicktown!
