(no subject)
I've decided to make a political blog. Whether it will last past this election cycle or not, who knows, but I find I feel more like writing it than I do fiction, and more than I tend to want to talk about my personal life here on livejournal.
The reason why I'm not just keeping it here is primarily that I've had friends mix a heavy amount of political content into their blogs, and when I disagreed with them strongly it was annoying that in order to keep up with them as a friend, I had to subject myself to the political rants as well -- and bite my tongue so as not to say what I really thought. So... go look at my political blog or not, as you like.
Speaking of letting people know what's going on -- Chipper's doing well in school, fitting in much better, at least academically, in Junior High than he did in 6th grade. Diagram that, grammar mavens! I've been working some overtime at the library, which is still a job I totally love. My back is doing the two steps forward one step back thing, so slow uneven progress, but still progress, I think.
I've been enjoying Warhammer Online. I recently got sucked into Facebook.
I'm reading Oh My Goddess! and watching Full Metal Alchemist. My game of choice these days is Agricola, but only if I'm in the mood for a longish game. Otherwise it's Race for the Galaxy, or something new.
