I screwed up embedding the video, I think. Now whenever I go into the HTML to do precisely that, it deletes everything after the video.
I'm embedding the video from Flikr, which apparently works by posting directly to your journal as a new post. I made that one private then ganked the HTML and pasted it (using the rich text link embedder) into the Peep post. And the HTML is unhappy with me for doing that.
I tried using just the "embed" option on Flikr, instead of the "Blog This" button, but that didn't work very well, either. There might be code jumbled up in there from deleting THAT attempt. I dunno. Live and learn.
Oh. And the comment I uttered, when the Peeps started to bubble and foam into twin baseballs of doom, was: "Ah Gawd, it's like Hiroshima in there", later likening it to Akira...and I was like, whoa I didn't just joke about Hiroshima right then and record it on video. So no....no sound...not until I learn how chop THAT gem out of there.
On Windows it'd be easy (if time-consuming) but I've got a Mac, and haven't figured out how to use iMovie very well yet.
