Okay, so I would've reviewed this days ago, but between making myself completely insane and fighting an evil, massive, unrelenting headache, I couldn't have written anything coherent.

Excuses being made, THAT WAS PERFECT! I honestly didn't expect anyone to write for Self, but I am so very, very glad that you did. I wish this was how the show had gone, because I really wanted to like Self. Unfortunately, he had to go and be a ho. -rolls eyes-

This was just so...so awesome though. And I love how /protective/ Alex is over Michael. It's kind of a secret kink.

I'm really impressed that you wrote Self and wrote him so well. And you refrained from the cliche of Self turning 'bad'.

The back/forth comparison between past/present was awesome and really leant a greater understanding of Self's character and motivations.

I especially loved the relationship you hinted at between Alex/Michael and Alex's protectiveness.

This is my favourite part:

And Mahone is touching where Michael touched, on his hand. Echoing the motion, like he couldn’t believe Michael actually did it.

Michael Scofield’s approval is like the touch of the Savior, in this group. Self doesn’t understand it.
