Jericho fic for the win! Yay fic! Yay Jake!fic! I knew you'd cave eventually...and I adore how there is ship at the end, like you couldn't resist, but it's Jake/Emily so it's okay. ;-) As for speculation...if Jake dies tomorrow night I will cry. More than I cried for "We Are Marshall". We need us some Skeet! I love me some pensive prose, and really "Tomorrow would come soon enough" is a pretty poignant line given the cancelation. Good work, thanks for writing it...for me!!! :-)...now write more. You know you want to.

This was quiet lovely. Slow moving (just like you'd expect Jake's thoughts to be on the eve of a Very Important day), and focused on everything and everyone outside himself. You have his character pretty well pegged. Great job.
