Hurray for savings accounts, and invoice terms
And by "savings account" I mean the bucket o' change in the back of my pickup. Pumped the contents through a coin-sorting machine today and got $110 out of it. Aah, another week of groceries, gas, etc.
What I don't get is, why do my clients seem to all think that "net 15" means they start considering processing my invoices only after 15 days have passed? No. NO. That means "pay me in 15 days or less." Maddening. Dangerous and expensive these days as well. If you're a client and reading this, please respect my payment terms.
I'd much rather be spending my time working on your projects than trying to get paid. This sort of behavior doesn't serve anyone's interests.
