TWILIGHT IS HERE!!!
Which i can't blame her for her enthusiasm BUT I can blame her for her damn attention seeking.... I know that it started in over an hour....damn teenies! she also did an hour and half hour before..*rolls eyes* Oh and there was a group of teenage boys .. like 4 main ones and a couple of ones just looking on... that were having lightsaber duels with of all things... their bleeping cell phones... I wanted to hit them in the face cause come on... One... its not a star wars flick and Two .. you look like fucking tards doing it... damn newbs!
And through the whole time that i was there.... almost two hours before the show started... there were these set of girls that would randomly do like cheers and dancing in front of the theatre and they were taking pictures... i was like .. WTF .. cause some of them weren't even that great but there was this little boy that killed and did flips and all kinds of shit ...which was good for the minute he was up there. But another realization was that there were a lot of Moms and older women in the audience which I wasn't expecting but it was good to see several generations of family going to a movie together... that part is very cool.
But I also loved that some of these girls made shirts for the occasion. They had made their own Twilight shirts... some of them were cool .. and even saw some Jacob Chicas representing their love for the wolf man ;) So it was a long time to wait and patience was not in endless supply but i was able not to kill some of the major annoying ones.... which is a good thing :D But they screamed at everything too .... and i think it finally broke some people cause i did hear a couple of people in the back .. behind me say "shut the fuck up" ... more than once...LMAO...So of course i was prepared for some screaming.. that is just a given when the movie starts.. hell fan boys do that too so i have had a lifetime of getting that but these teenies too it to new heights! When the trailers came on ... when it started .. when the characters were introduced.. it was getting serious! LOL
...Ok when the movie started .. it was finally real and I couldn't wait to see what they had done with the movie. Ok .. let me explain that when something like this comes to screen .. whether it be book or comic.. i try to give it leeway.. cause lets face facts .. no movie can be a book .. its just not possible! But I did like Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson portrayals of Bella and Edward.. and that Robert Pattinson... even though he is a baby... damn in some spots... Hubba Hubba!!
For the most part they stayed close to the book ... of course they had to change somethings in order to make it easier and they couldn't go into the detail and therefore not all the moments of Edward and Bella made it and its a shame in a sense but totally understandable cause I could understand that they didnt want to go beyond the 2 hours that they already had. I loved the introduction... bella's first day of school.... so awesome. I loved how they introduced the cullens, even though most of them weren't in it that much .. it was cool that they were there!! YAY!!
I loved when Bella first meets Edward in the Bio Class... that was so awesome since Bella is basically in slow motion and the fan in her hair and in any other movie it would be where the guy would totally swoon but here you see Edward pinch his nose and make a classic face that he just smelled something that had been dead for 5 days ...LMFAO... it was so great!! Oh man ...that moment was awesome !! And the guy they cast for Mike ... did it perfect!! I think the casting was very good ... the annoying people were dead on! I also liked Jacob, i can see him doing well in New moon if they do that one which I hope they do cause i would love to see a breaking dawn movie since that one is my fave!! But i also loved the moment when Edward finally talks to Bella after being gone for the week ... the whole onion thing .. good stuff they didnt do it all but they did the bulk which was fab. I wish some of the scenes in the promos and such made it to the movie ... maybe when the DVD comes out .. YAY!!!
They couldnt do all the times that he was sneaking into bella's bedroom sleeping cause... there was no time and not plot moving .. but i think they glazed some stuff over but it happens. I loved Charlie... he was a funny guy and the actor did a fab job. The whole scene in Port Angeles loved it since it showed that Edward could kill in a moment and the whole thing in the car was great. And of course.. the kiss... I thought that scene was captured very well... i think they could have used a wide shot during a part of it but it was great. They gave us a little somethin somethin...;) YAY!!!
Ok even though I enjoyed most of it ... there were things that wasnt the best or I didnt care for. The big one was some of the effects. Since this director has done little in the realm of special effects and this is where you can tell. I didn't like the harnesses that they used... it was not smooth but since this is also budget related it could have added to it ...but the whole flying through the trees and what not could have been done better but maybe something that could be fixed for the next one hopefully. That was the biggest ... it just looked fake.. i mean of course its fake but it was obvious which is usually never good.But i do not want to end on a down note... more of what i liked to close :) I loved the fight scene at the dance studio.It coud have been longer but that is just the whore in me... but it was good ... that Jason was very good and damn .. that body ... geez! Again the harness work could have been better but not bad. And i also loved the prom.. that final scene with Bella and Edward was fab.. she totally wanted him to bite her and when he just kisses her was great. :) She had a classic look of ... Damn it ... i was ready for the bite.. hehe.. but they did totally set up the other movies.. which was awesome !! I do hope that they do make more ... it would be awesome if they do them all. YAY!!! But of course now i have to see it without the teenies... lol... so hopefully i can do that soon. Well that is enough rambling from me ..... but overall .. a winner i think! Please let me know what you think when you see it i am always curious on what people like and don't and if you think that i was just plain crazy ... LOL">
