Goals/Dreams: Susan wants to take after her Aunt Amelia and work for the Ministry of Magic. She has recently taken on a job in the Department of Mysteries, but can't talk about work. The majority of her work consists of research, however, she does do some field work, as well.
Quirks/Habits: When Susan is drunk, embarrassed, or thinking naughty thoughts, she touches a finger to her nose. It's her "tell".
Likes: Muggle literature, chocolate, papayas, guavas, and other exotic fruits, Indian food, language(s), economics, "fizzy drinks", brightly coloured nail polish.
Dislikes: Death Eaters, yogurt.

Family: Susan's parents, Edmund and Rose, were killed in the first war against Voldemort along with her Uncle Edgar. She grew up with her Aunt Amelia in London, but when she was killed in Susan's sixth year at Hogwarts, Susan was left only with distant relatives and relied mostly on her friends in tough times. She considers her friends to be her family now.
Parents:Edmund Bones, brother of Edgar Bones, was a wizard and was killed in the first war against Voldemort. His young wife, Rose, was a half-blood witch and the first in her family to be sorted into Hufflepuff at Hogwarts. She was killed alongside her husband and his brother in a gruesome battle.
Susan's Aunt Amelia was her primary caregiver and guardian as a child. She was a wise and powerful witch, who was part of the Wizengamot. Susan had always been fascinated by Amelia's monocle and keeps it now on a chain around her neck, even though she has no practical use for it.

Background
Role During the War: During the War, Susan stayed at Hogwarts, encouraging younger Hufflepuffs and trying as hard as she could to protect them from the Carrows. She fought alongside Harry, Neville, and the other members of the DA against the Death Eaters and, though she was not killed, she was wounded and spent a few months in the hospital after the final battle. Eventually she gained back full movement in both her legs and arms and was fully functional, though it took some time to get over her anger issues.
In the Past Year: Susan finished her schooling at Hogwarts as most of her classmates did and then took a job with the Ministry of Magic working as an assistant in the Department of Mysteries. After her first few months there and the results of entrance exams and physical tests, it was decided that she was ready for more responsibility and Susan was asked to join the rest of the Unspeakables for a permanent position as a researcher in the Department of Mysteries.
Future Plans: Susan would like to work on her own research projects some day and influence both policy and procedure within the Ministry of Magic.
