I believe caffeine is a useful tool in doing well in school. I had a shot of espresso this morning with a resident at 5am. During my 8am class, I participated, was attentive, and I was awake for once -- even though I'm largely sleep deprived. Caffeine increases alertness which is good for learning (especially when you can't get enough sleep). I think I am going to make espresso every morning tue-thur for me and anyone who wants to join me. It will be a good way to make sure I wake up, do well in my classes, and interact with my residents.
I'll at least try it for a week or two and see how it overall affects me. Now it's time to write a paper in 3 hours from start to finish. Yee-gads. This is going to be close. Why do I keep doing this to myself every single week!? Haha. So I'm a leopard. Sue me.
