The only new play I have seen 'lately' (& discounting the thirty or so plays by the neos) was "August: Osage County" at Steppenwolf. Apparently it won the Pulitzer? If so, it is because it deserved it like woah - incredible stuff.

In conclusion: a) I am out of touch with the theater/pulitzer scene. b) Read it.
