Dual Fate
I wrote this for school..... it's called Dual Fate... enjoy
It has been almost a year since Imiko moved here to Pilkington in northern Washington. She was originally from Japan. She is very shy and only has a few friends she hangs out with. “Imiko! Imiko! Wait up!” yelled Julia while she was running down the hall towards Imiko, she finally catches up. “So what are you doing this weekend?” asked Julia “Well Julia-chan I… I have no plans… do you?” Replied Imiko. “I was gonna go to the arcade, you interested?” asked Julia. “The arcade huh… well um, it sounds interesting but I just remembered I can’t go.” Said Imiko with a weak laugh “your loss, well I gotta go bye.” Said Julia with a smirk “Matane!” Yelled Imiko to Julia as she got on the bus.
Imiko lives very close to the school so she just walks there. Her mother worries about her because she’s only thirteen and all by her lonesome when she walks, but Imiko tells her it’s the country and nothing bad happens there. When she gets home she goes straight up to her computer, throws her backpack on her bed, sits down, and boots up. “I love my Keisanki.” Imiko whispered to herself. She went to www.ultimateteenhelp.org and started to chat with a counselor named Hojo. [Hojo: So what is your problem little girl?] [SkyPusher13: How do you know I’m a girl?] [Hojo: I read your profile, now change your name to the real you] [Imiko: Better?] [Hojo: Yes, much, now what is your problem?] [Imiko: Well I’m too sky to tell this boy I love him] [Hojo: Oh, okay, here fill out this survey] Imiko fills out the survey which is aimed at getting the true essence of a person. [Imiko: All done, now what?] [Hojo: You wait, I’ll be back in a second.] [Hojo: OK I’m back, Imiko meet Okimi.] [Imiko: uh… thanks, hello Okimi] [Okimi: Hello Imiko] Imiko and Okimi start to chat and after a while she notices Okimi is a lot like her. [Okimi: I’m not like you, I am your] Imiko’s monitor goes black and has Okimi bouncing around on it, mirroring now and then to show Imiko.
Imiko thought nothing of saterday when Monday came around; She just figured it was a prank site, she has never gone there before. “Konnichiha Kate-chan!” Imiko greeted Kate “How are you today?” “Me? I’m uh… fine… but you were just in the caf’ eating what no one else could, or would, how did you get here so fast?” Asked Kate “What are you talking about?” Asked Imiko “I was never in the caf’!” “Maybe you have a twin?” Said Kate just as the bell rang “oh no, gotta go!” Kate runs off. “Okimi? No couldn’t be” Imiko said to herself.
As the school day went by Imiko was reported as doing odd things. Imiko wanted to get to the bottom of this. “Kate-chan, Julia-chan, have you seen me recently?” She asked. “Uh… yeah” said Julia “You were by your locker” Said Kate. “Doumo Julia-chan, Kati-chan, I’ll see you later.” And with that Imiko was off. When Imiko got to her locker she saw herself, well Okimi, kissing Tom out of the blue, Imiko likes Tom but so does Laura. Laura is Imiko’s arch-nemesis and likes Tom too. Okimi leaves Tom stunned and disappears with Laura rinning after her. Imiko runs home even though it’s only fifth period.
Laura catches up with Okimi. “Hey!” Laura yelled, but Okimi ignored her “Don’t be like that!” laura tries to trip Okimi but fails. “Baka! You can not stop the almighty Okimi-san!” Yelled Okimi. “?Tom-kun is mine!” Okimi gave Laura a shrewd glare. “Mess!” “Heh, Imiko, don’t act all high and mighty you shy little girl” Said Laura with a smirk. “You can’t stop me” Laura raised her fists, but Okimi was behind her before she could do anything. “Boo” with that Okimi knocked Laura unconscious in the hallway, which had a crowd of people who watched the whole thing.
Imiko got home embarrassed and bawling. “What’s happened are you ok?” asked Imiko’s parents with a concerned look on their faces. “Futaoya, someone posed as me in school today and did bad things and everyone thought she was me!” Cried Imiko as she ran up to her computer. “Hojo! I must contact him!” Imiko starts up to the computer and she notices she has a message and opens it [Hojo at 08:46 on 26/4/2007 - I hope you like the job Okimi is doing, seeing as I can’t stop her, well have fun ;-)] Imiko quickly pulls up her contact list. “Good thing I saved this.” Imiko finds it and IMs Hojo. [Imiko: Hojo! She’s ruining my life, how do I stop her?] [Hojo: You can’t stop me, unless you kill me] [Imiko: What!? Okimi!? You’re Hojo!? Wait shouldn’t you be in school?] [Hojo: No… I only killed him and stole his identity, and it’s Okimi-SAN by the way I’m using the schools computer so 8Þ] [Imiko: Tommarow I will and must stop you!] [Hojo: Try it, you can’t.] “Not again, how does she do that?” Imiko said aloud. “she is everywhere.” Replied a voice “You’ll need this.” A man emerged from the floor “Take it!” he handed Imiko a dagger of pure ivory, pulsating with a blood red glow and cold aura. “Who are you and what is this?” Imiko asked. “I am Hojo and I bring you the Dagger of Zanshi. Use it on Okimi, but I warn you, it’s a one use only weapon so use it wisely.” Advised Hojo. “It’s also the Dagger of Nyoi, but you only get one wish, I advise you not to use this power, I must go, bye.” Before Imiko could say anything he was gone.
Imiko woke with a shake “What am I to do, I have the ultimate power, but she is me and a human… I think.” Imiko went to school with the dagger in her pocket. When she got to the door she walked inside and yelled. “Okimi where are you? Get out here now!” Okimi came walking down the hall with a smart look on her face. “Ok I’m here now what?” “You die!” Imiko yelled nervously. Imiko rushed at Okimi, blade still sheathed, and ran into he. “Take that!” “What? That love tap?” Okimi countered with a knee to the stomach which nocks the dagger to the flood. “nmooooo!” “What!? The Dagger of Zanshi? I must have it” They both made a dash for the dagger
