Just a recapper.

After several months of ignoring my Livejournal…I’m back! Well, not really. Just putting nice filler here. January has been, slow in events, but there have been a lot of good vay-cay time just lying around.
1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
There are a handful I’m sure, I can’t think of anything right now. Well, I was a best man. I’ll probably not see that position again. Umm… I dunno. I can’t think.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I like resolutions, and I dunno. I think I maintained, but didn’t succeed.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Well, I hear that one of my cousins impregnated some girl recently. I hope, hope, that someone from my mom’s side actually succeeds.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Well, I don’t think so.
5. What countries did you visit?
Sadly, no. Jeez, not even Canada.
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
A diploma. My goal is to get out by December 2007. Then work on my MBA.
7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Early January, when Eric and I were in Disney. Just the two of us (and my sister) it was so nice having the man I love and the older sister there together.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Not crashing my car. Probably.
9. What was your biggest failure?
I dunno. I probably coulda done better in my classes.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Me and the sniffles. Maybe a random bruise. Nothing to bad,
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My new Ipod. Although it caused confusion in the long term, I’m quite happy with the updated baby.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My sisters, it seems that she’s mellowed a little, but maintained the Snarky-ness that I love about her.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I won’t name names. But celebrity speaking, Britney Spears the most.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Two words: Eating Out. (Not sexually of course)
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Disney Weddings.
16. What song will always remind you of 2006?
I dunno, there are a few; Gnarls Barkley’s Crazy is one big one. Probably, “Bad Day”, and “You’re Beautiful” just because of their being overplayed.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
I. happier or sadder? Happier.
ii. Thinner or fatter? Fatter. And I’m working on it.
iii. Richer or poorer? Poorer.

Party with friends.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Not sleeping.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I had breakfast with the parents. Opened presents, that’s pretty much it.
21. Did you fall in love in 2006?
The one thing I realized is that Eric is amazing. The best out there really. Although he may play the dumb card once in a while, he has a lot of street smarts and common sense. He helps balance me a lot.
22. What was your favorite TV program?
Amazing Race, Grey’s Anatomy (Gasp! Not a Reality Show?) And I gotta give some credit to that stupid MTV show, The Little Talent Show, because it was so damn funny.
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Probably. But I dunno.
24. What was the best book you read?
Umm…it seemed like I didn’t read much. I get confused on what I read when. I believe I bought the new Augusten Burroughs book.
25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
I dunno, at the radio station I get to listen to a lot. I thought that the one song from Lady Sovereign was creatively addictive. Umm…Corrine Bailey Rae was okay, but not the best. Umm… I can’t recall names at the moment. Oh actually, I fell in love with Hyori Lee. She’s cool too.
26. What did you want and get?
I dunno, a better camera. A better Ipod. I dunno.
28. What did you want and not get?
I lot.
29. What was your favorite film of this year?
Dreamgirls Snuck in there at the end. Little Miss Sunshine was funny. Superman was okay.
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 20 and things happened. I can’t recall. It was during spirit weekend.
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
More time, and money probably
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
Hahaha. Kohl’s Sheik.

Television. My Ipod.

Still Jake Gyllenhaal. Umm. Brandon Routh.
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
Anything involving Pirro.
36. Who did you miss?
A lot of people.
37. Who was the best new person you met?
The people in my Marketing class were good. And…what’s her name in my Communication Research Methods Class. I feel bad that I can’t recall.
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006.
It’s better when you have a shoulder to lean on.
39. Quote song lyrics that sums up your year.
Like fireflies in fairy tales
Like shooting stars and wishing wells
Like happy endings rising after the storm

I know we were meant to fly
I know there’s a reason why
We held onto the dream inside
And never let it go

I know that love can sometimes hurt
But I have faith that we will work
I’m trusting in the universe this time
I’ve got the love of my life
