It REALLY depends on the going price for the items...
I don't sell anything unless it'll sell for ~$30 or more. Why? eBay listing and selling fees, and the 3% Paypal charge, then shipping costs and materials.
Selling on eBay isn't worth it unless you KNOW you're going to make $30+ on winning bid, that way you can walk away with at least $20-25
I sold a LOT on eBay this year - about $2k worth. It was all computer equipment so I was able to make everything sell for above $30, but I kept some things that I don't need, simply based on the fact that they'll sell for less than $30. Check on what your things are going for, and if the price is right, go for it.
