Political Science Essay

I don't know what to do for my essay due Friday. I have an idea but it would be another paper for "the crescent"- our Christian school newspaper. I don't know what current news topic I could use for the Oregonian. And I know I can do one for the Crescent again, but what about the last paper- I'll have to do a paper for the Oregonian sometime. The problem that usually gets me is that my prof. always wants me to take a controversial stance. I was thinking of the Palestinian government being leaded by Hamas- a terrorist organization. Isn't that religious? I don't even know what my opinion on it is. So far as I can tell, whatever side you take on that situation is controversial- but I'm not sure. And it won't do any good to email him now because it's Saturday and any prof. would be crazy to be working on a Saturday, at least in his office, etc. Anyone have any suggestions? The other one that I was thinking of doing was the Muslims around the world rioting about the cartoons of Mohammad (sp?). I dont' know what my opinion is on that one either. Or if it would be controversial. I was thinking of doing the paper looking at their perspective. Except, then I don't know how far I could go with that. Either way, both these topics are very difficult to work with. HELP PLEASE?!
