Summary: Genderbent HSAU (sort of)--Hikaru is a motorcycle mechanic and general bad girl; Pavla is a new immigrant who goes to shows when her parents think she's at synagogue. They totally hit it off, then totally get it on.

Oh my goodness, I love this SO INCREDIBLY MUCH! It is like every good thing rolled into one glorious package! You would not even believe the amount of flailing and squeeing I did when I saw this was posted and all during reading this. Seriously. I read the whole thing with an enormous grin on my face and then immediately went back to the top and read it again.

I adore Pavla. I love that she's short and curvy. I love her gummy smile. I love her bold, directness. I love that she's all tits and skirts and long curly hair and new mascara. I love her smartass bs about the products in the store. I love how she gets lost in thought about all matter of things and how she knows what she wants. (I wish I had been so confident and self-assured at 16)

I am completely enamored with Hikaru. Holy hell, she's so hot. (Plus those pictures of Tao Okamoto-- *combusts* Thanks for those!) I love, love, love her short, shiny hair and her tank tops and leather jacket and how she never wears a bra and her gorgeous A-cups that Pavla's crazy about. I love Hikaru on a motorcycle and how she's so taken with Pavla's feminine beauty and directness and daydreaming. And how she'll punch out a guy without blinking an eye but then hide from the rain. Seriously, she's like my ideal woman.

I could pretty much name every single thing that happened in this as "stuff that I loved." But for the highlights-- I loved their first meet, Pavla crawling under the stall door, them having coffee and french fries at a diner (I love diners so much-- seriously), Hikaru holding her jacket over her head to shield herself from the rain-- I'm with Pavla here-- that is SO cute! and even more so because she's all badass, Hikaru clocking that guy for hurting Pavla, that amazing first kiss which was such an awesome rush, that Jamie's band spent more time arguing about a name than playing, Scotty's shop and her wife (who I'm totally thinking of as Gaila because I love those two together), Gaila and Pavla chatting about their crazy curly hair and their grease-streaked significant others...

Hikaru's studio apartment with an unmade bed and nothing but tap water to drink, how much Pavla gets off on Hikaru's tiny breasts and no bras, how much Hikaru gets off on Pavla's gorgeous breasts, the line about how all the boys wanted to get under Pavla's shirt but it was all for Hikaru, them playing with the shower, the total hotness of their first time, their sweetly awkward I love yous and Hikaru giving Pavla her leather jacket, and Pavla kissing Hikaru in front of the whole school and then riding off on the back of her motorcycle (total hs fantasty of mine back in the day-- to be all 'yeah, take that!' to all the cruel, judgmental kids at my very small school who made my life a living hell)

I absolutely loved this. And I am flattered beyond all measure that you wrote something so brilliant for me! :D No one has ever written fic for me before! SO glad you posted this now and didn't wait until July *gasp* and I take full responsibility for shamelessly begging you for this! I love you! *glomps you* Best. Thing. Ever.

Ahhhh I'm SO glad you like this:)! I was totally slacking off, but no kidding, when you mentioned your terrible no good schedule the other day, I totally got cracking. You've been so sweet and lovely in my experience with this fandom and I just wanted to return the favor, heh<3!

NGL, my conceptions of girl!Hikaru and girl!Pavel have gone through a ton of thought it my head and I TOTALLY have that butch/femme kink like you mentioned in your journal. girl!Pavel i usually written as this slip of a thing, but that just doesn't turn me on, lol. Hikaru is every girl I wished I was when I was a teenager ;___; stacks of records and coveting her lady ahhhhh. AND YES it was totally Gaila :x how much I ship her/scotty is almost ridiculous<3

I'm sooo glad you enjoyed all of this, really, and that fact you like it so much just makes my day! LOL THIS IS COMPLETELY MY HS FANTASY--I have this theory that my compulsion for HSAU stems directly from how much I hated high school hahaha.
