NUMBER SIXTY-FIVE 2011 IN ICONS
2011 has been a busy year. Well, okay not so busy, but brought my life back to some kind of normality. Iconing was pretty important to me, but now, looking back on what and how much I actually iconned, I am a bit disappointed, because it hasn't been so much. For a few months I didn't icon anything, even though I had lots of spare time. Anyways, I am kind of proud of how much I have developed my own style and how I have been influenced by great icon makers like sarisafari, who linked to the amazing website for textures in her q&a post and I always loved her way of blending, which kept me trying. I also loved wildpages work a lot and I am so glad she loves qaf as much as I do, so she keeps inspiring me to make more icons of that fandom, even though the caps aren't the best quality, but her's always looked so clear and that kept me trying to get better results. Also thanks to all the others who posted q&a posts, because they were such great inspiration :)
Also thanks to vampire_sessah who always helped me when I didn't know if my icons looked ok or if I had to change something :)

tried out some styles and colouring on my own → no psds

took the first requests + peter doherty obsession
April
first tvshow obession ever (besides animes when I was a kid): misfits + tried some new styles
May
i learned to love the pleasures of tv shows and colourful icons
July
didn't icon in June but came back with so much new inspirations + discovered queer as folk ♥
October
aka the month I started to find my own iconing style. thanks to 20inspirations
November
icon battle with sarisafari and vampire_sessah + unfinished 20inspirations batch. AGAIN.
December
aka my favourite month. Textures became a need and I finished my second 20inspirations batch + amazing battle with wildpages♥
