Seems to have been a while since I've updated.
I'm off today due to the shitty weather and the fact that the current job involves being outside. So I have time for a small update, I guess.
So I bought myself a Nintendo DS a while ago. It's pretty cool. I'm not really all that into video games, but I got ahold of one for a decent price. I picked up the NEW Super Mario Brothers last week and I have to say, it's pretty cool. It's very much like the old school NES version of Super Mario Brothers (you know, with the warp pipes and mushrooms and whatnot), but with much better graphics, sound, and new power ups. I stop in Gamestop and EB Games from time to time to see what if I can find anything else cool for the handheld. It also plays Gameboy Advance games, so I picked up a used copy of The Legend Of Zelda. It's simply a ported version of the original NES game, but you can play it on the go. I managed to convince Effie to buy a DS also, and she's been hogging the Zelda game from me. We're nerds together. We're also playing Animal Crossing: Wild World. Now I just have to wait for the new Nintend system to come out and I'll be set. They're calling it the "Wii". Kinda lame. But I'll get used to it. That, or I'll just have to give it a more manly nickname. Like Thor or something. Whatever plays my Zelda games makes me happy.
Speaking of Effie, we'll be heading to Wisconsin for Memorial Day weekend with her sister and brother-in-law. They own a camper/trailer and have it set in a pretty cool campground. The campground has a restaurant/bar and full shower facilities. Should be a good time. Gotta buy me some Boca burgers since I can't do the traditional camping food. Tuesday is Effie's 26th birthday, so we're kinda celebrating that, too.
Other than that, I'm fine. Work is fine, with the exception of the fact that I'm working with Walter every now and then. My car is........fine. Running. So that's good.
