...I was walking down the street between train & bus this morning, when I saw a woman0
staggering up the path towards me, mid-20's, short, thin, wearing a suit, covered in her own vomit, really pale in the face, sweating something terrible, she was kind of clinging to the railing next the path.
I rushed up to her and she asked me to help her to a taxi, she could barely walk, I half-carried her to the taxi bay (only about twenty meters away or I would have been calling an ambulance despite her wishes I think) and helped her into one, took her to the local hospital.
From what she said "this feels like really bad period pain, but sooo bad, feels like I'm giving birth, but it's not that time of the month, and it's late, and oh god it hurts I can barely walk...", and the bleeding etc. I'm guessing she may have been having a miscarriage. She arrived at the hospital (relatively) all right, so hopefully she'll be okay, I just wish I'd gotten her name so that I could call and check up on her...
