verbing nouns

scam has become a verb in my work place, and an adjective, "bloody scammers are scamming us" kill me, it comes up a lot.

She kicks demon arse!

The other day I was listening to the BTVS from Once More with Feeling on the bus (with my brand new mp3 player *hugs toy*) I accidently left the head-phone jack out slightly, which had the effect of broadcasting the music with perfect clarity to everybody in a two metre radius. My morning bus carries a large number of primary school age kidlets to the local school down the road from my workplace.
In the lull between "walk through the fire" and "heeey don't ya like my styleeee" I heard a conversation between two of the youngsters, the girl on the seat next to me (GSNM), and a boy standing in the door-way (BIDW).

GSNM "The girl next to me is listening to some weeeird shit"
BIDW "What, man, that's buffy the vampire slayer!"
GSNM "oh I don't watch that show"
BIDW "man, she kicks demon arse!" *does wicked kung-fo moves*
P_R *stifles attack of the giggles*

Definitely an experience for the positive side of the scales in my PT Anon adventures.

I'm staying at my folks house this week (house-sitting their pets), they live out in Zone 3, so my travels this week (consisting of the following border crossings - Morning: zone 3, 2, 1, 2 Night: zone 2, 1, 2, 3) ought to give me plenty of material, maybe I'll start updating with something approaching regularity again soon(!) I need that silver-lining because $52 #@$*&^!! for a weekly ticket.
