Wooo!
I just had someone call me from Prescott College confirming my alumni meeting saturday morning.
It was so awesome! She just gave me all these cool random details about prescott and let me ask questions....it was totally rad. She told me that the most awesome part of prescott is that not only are people passionate about the environment, they actually get to excercise their passion and make a difference. Its totally perfect for me. She also said that there is very little classroom work and alot of classes will meet in the field and spend a few days out there camping. AHHH. I really have to work my ass off to get enough money though; it's really expensive but seems to be totally worth it!
I just always thought college to be a place to get a degree and help you make more money in your job, but it just seems like prescott is more about pursuing what you love...which is just perfect for me.
In Other news, I got the new MCR cd today, and it is NOT what I expected. Not in a bad way though, just not your typical emo pop-punk. Very Queen-esque and classic rock-ish.
Friday=Rise Against//Thursday//Billy Talent//Circa Survive. I have my outfit totally planned out too. I'm wearing my descendents shirt and blue converse. This will be my first real punk show, so I am super stoked.
Saturday is my birthday party! Its a costume party, and I am being an army skank. Its so cute though! Ahh. Being 18 will be crazy. I just wanna go to college. Prescott makes me really wanna leave home and live on my own. Bah.
