OMG, Han Solo is frozen in--wait, Jack is et by the Kraken, and Luke and Leia Will and Elizabeth have to save him!!!
Loved it. Will watch it again soon and be more coherent. Bloody, goddamned cliffhangers! Now I need even MORE Pirates! This one seemed more...frantic than the first one, and the cannibals...well I could have done without them. There was some great stuff there, but...yeah. Could have done without the cannibals. But I loved that all the characters were back and the wacky hi-jinks that ensued. Norringtone was totally badass, and NOW I see why stoney321 thinks he's a fox. All scruffy and...prrrow. Elizabeth finally got to kick some ass, and Will was far less insipid. Also, the return of Bootstrap was definitely cool. There's a potential plot-hole from the first one nicely wrapped up. The continuity geek in me did a happy dance. Plus, I was again reminded of Monkey Island. I can't be the only one who played those games. Will is totally Guybrush and Barbossa is LeChuck. And Elizabeth is Elaine. And now that there's a Voodoo lady? Monkey Island all the way. Which makes me happy, because I always wanted a movie of those games. This is the next best thing. /tangent
And, DUDE, Barbossa!!! Eating APPLES!!! Again I say, DUDE.
Does anyone else worry that the third one may contain Ewoks?
