I can't stop listening to "Running the World" by Jarvis Cocker. I can't wait for his show in April! Jarvis! Live in Seattle!?
I watched the Grammy's tonight. Maybe it's me, but when did the Grammy's become like an MTV Video award show? I thought they were supposed to be somewhat classy. I was surprised by all the pyrotechnics and antics. I liked it though, most likely because I tivoed it so I could pick and choose what I wanted to see. Lionel Ritchie singing "Hello"? Yes. Little kids dancing amazingly to a rapper I've never heard of? Yes. The Dixie Chicks won most of the awards, and I feel okay saying that I think they deserved them. Maybe not all of them, but definitely song of the year. They worked hard to get where they are now. Justin Timberlake got to sing three songs though. I own his new cd and I like him, but three songs at the Grammy's? Share the stage, Justin. And Scarlett Johansen is recording an album now? Why?! Why do actors/actresses also want to be a pop star and vice versa? It's too much for my brain.
